Through this notice, the provider of information society services makes available to consumers and users the information it is required to provide pursuant to Article 10 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Hands With Heart collects personal data from users of the website (“Personal Data”). These personal data and the information derived from the use of the services managed and contracted through the website are incorporated into Hands With Heart’s RECORD OF PROCESSING ACTIVITIES, stored privately, which also maintains an up-to-date list of each user’s personal data. This document is available to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at all times.
Hands With Heart may request or collect personal information from online customers in various ways, including online forms to request products or services and other requests inviting customers to provide such information.
Hands With Heart informs customers that the personal data provided in the registration form, as well as any other information the customer may provide in the future within the framework of their relationship with Hands With Heart, may be included in the aforementioned generated “RECORD OF PROCESSING ACTIVITIES”.

3. About the period for which personal data are retained
Hands With Heart will retain acquired data indefinitely for as long as the contractual relationship lasts, unless the user expresses their wish to cancel the information collected. Once the contractual relationship with the service provider has ended, the customer data that had to be accessed in the course of providing services will be returned or destroyed.
After the contractual relationship with the customer ends, Hands With Heart reserves the right to retain the data of the customer who unsubscribes for the time necessary to comply with its legal obligations. During that period, personal data will remain blocked and will not be used for any purpose other than the foregoing or for invoicing or collecting outstanding invoices. Once the legal retention periods have expired, the data will be deleted.
4. About website security and possible security breaches
Hands With Heart states that it has implemented sufficient security mechanisms on this website to prevent leakage of data collected through the form. In any case, if there were any security leak involving a possible breach of the personal data of website users, Hands With Heart undertakes to inform both the supervisory authorities and users immediately after its detection. Notification to users will be made primarily by e-mail in three mailings to ensure proper receipt.
Notification to supervisory authorities will include the number of users affected by the potential security breach, the types and categories of data affected, a description of those data, the possible effects and consequences of the breach, and the measures taken to resolve the situation and prevent new breaches in the future.
With regard to website security, this site does not collect or store sensitive data relating to users’ credit cards or bank details, always uses secure passwords to access the admin panel, creates automated backups, and keeps all software interacting with WordPress (plugins and third-party applications) up to date, as well as employing various anti-malware and anti-spam measures and login-attempt limiters.
