Para Surfing

We turn science into opportunity in the water.
Every wave demands power, precision, and confidence. For para surfers, clinical preparation is key:

  • Before competition: release restrictions, improve mobility, and adjust posture to maximize paddling and stability.
  • Between heats: recovery techniques, pain control, and injury prevention.
  • Day-to-day: routines and ergonomics to prolong careers and keep athletes healthy.

With this approach, every athlete enters their heat ready to perform at their best and enjoy what they love most: surfing.

Why We Do It

Because disability is not a limit – it’s just a label.

Para surfing inspires the world by proving that diversity is pure ability. The athletes we support don’t just compete; they break barriers, transform perceptions, and remind us that talent and passion always rise above limitation.

We have provided free healthcare support at the most prestigious para surfing events worldwide:

Diversity in the water, unity in passion.
We support surfers across all ISA-recognized divisions:

  • Stand (1–3): athletes with limb differences or short stature
  • Kneel/Upright: surfers who compete on their knees
  • Sit/Waveski: seated surfers, with or without assistance
  • Prone (1–2): surfers lying prone, with or without assistance
  • VI (1–2): athletes who are blind or visually impaired

Common conditions include: spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputations, muscular dystrophies, visual impairments, and typical surf-related overuse injuries (shoulder, spine, hip).

Our role: to optimize biomechanics, adapting care to the unique condition of every athlete.
