Hands with Hearth has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dhyana Pura University from Bali through which we are going to provide and improve the education training with our knowledge about how to work with children and adults with disabilities.
This collaboration with a local institution is going to provide also with the support of the university to bring students to do clinical rotations supervised by Hands with Heart providing their permanent support that the children of the community or people with disabilities in Bali who needs to get therapy as often as they need without having to have Hands with Heart in the island to do so.
We are extremely grateful to the University and their Dean Dr Rai for making this collaboration possible. We are also extremely grateful to the department of physical therapy and the department of international affairs and we are looking forward to create the change that we want to see in the island.
